4.2.3.4.2.6 Standby
Standby mode allows the Azimuth and Elevation Axes to independently be placed in Standby. When a Standby
button illuminates red, the corresponding axis motor brakes are engaged, and the axis servo amplifier is disabled, as
shown in Figure 116.
When the axis Manual button is selected and illuminates green, the axis Standby button changes to gray. The AZ
and EL axes motor brakes are released, and the axis servo is enabled and waiting for manual control input (chain-
link button selects both axes at the same time).

4.2.3.4.3 Camera Icon
The Camera icon, shown in Figure 117, allows access to the Camera parameters menu. This allows the user to turn
the camera On and Off, and provides access to the available camera control selections (depending on GUI Client
software version).
