4.2.1.5.3.7  Feed 1 

The Hardware - Feed 1 window provides access to the basic parameters the factory configured for the first feed (in 
multiple feed configurations). 

In the example shown in Figure 52, the Quasonix standard Single Channel Monopulse (SCM) electronically 
scanning multiband (L, S, and C) Tracking Feed parameters have been configured. 

This window contains four (4) available configurable Feed types (Feed 1 through Feed 4). This allows for the 
system to be configured for up to four (4) feeds in a single Quasoni

x HyperTrack™

. 

For example, Feed 1 would save the parameters for the provided, typical SCM feed assembly (as shown in Figure 
52), while Feed 2 would contain the parameters for an additional feed, such as an offset, dish mounted, ACQ-AID. 

Different types of feeds can be selected and configured within this window, such as combinations of Conical 
Scanning Feeds, SCM, or Monopod with Acquisition Aid Feeds. 

This window in not available to all users. Users with limited access (ADMIN), however, can modify the Scan 
Frequency and the Band Detector Gains (Det.Gain °/V) only. An Advanced Password must be entered to access any 
other Feed 1 parameters.
