The axis Velocity, Acceleration, and Deceleration parameters are set up in this section. The AZ axis offset angle
also displays here. The offset angle is typically generated by the True North Tool, which is used to correct the AZ
axis to 0.0° North position (refer to the True North Tool section). Changing the AZ offset angle here, changes the
systems north pointing position.
Selecting the Apply button saves all parameter selections. To close the window, select the close window (X) located
at the top right corner.

4.2.1.5.2.2 Elevation
The Mission - Elevation window contains the critical Elevation Axis motion and limit parameters, as shown in
Figure 33. The soft limit locations (if used) are set here. To enable, select Disabled next to the Enable Soft Limits?
field. When enabled, the field is highlighted green.
This enables the limits in the Up/Down directions in Elevation. The axis Velocity, Acceleration, and Deceleration
parameters are also set up in this area.
The EL axis Offset angle displays here. The offset angle is typically generated set.

at the top right corner.
