HTAC Communications Architecture
The typical Ethernet communication layout scheme, for the HyperTrack
™
Antenna Controller (HTAC), as well as
the connected Windows Client (PC) computer, the managed switch (control room), and the external System Servo
Assembly, is shown Figure 7. All connections are CAT 5/6. The communication lines between the switch and the
Servo Assembly can be either Fiber Optic (FO) or Wired (RJ45), depending on the tracking system selected and the
distance between the control room (HTAC) and the Servo Assembly.

4.1.3
Client Computer Graphical User Interface (GUI)
The client software Graphical User Interface (GUI) is located on the Windows 10 PC and is installed via a standard
windows installer, typically from a USB flash drive or similar portable storage device.
The GUI does NOT start automatically upon computer boot up.
To start the GUI, select the Controller icon (small antenna ACU) located on the left-hand side of the Windows
desktop, as shown in Figure 8.
