Using a manual method, such as with handwheels, joystick, remote box, etc., move the antenna so the 
shadow of the prime focus feed is centered at the vertex of the reflector. If using a vertex mounted feed, 
Cassegrain, position the sun centered over the Cassegrain Feed Assembly.

After the antenna is positioned to sun, select the Set Current Position as Sun Position button. 

Select the Next button to continue. 

8.

 

This completes the True North wizard setup. The True North AZ Offset has been calculated, as shown in 
Figure 63. When the AZ Axis position dial reads 0.0°, the Antenna Azimuth Axis is pointed to calibrate to 
North. 

Select the Finish button to save the North Pointing position.
