4.2.1.8.3 Motion Tuning
Motion Tuning view, shown in Figure 83, contains 30 second scroll plots of position, velocity, and current usage of
each axis. The six Motion Tuning rolling charts for the AZ and EL axes showing the AZ and EL motion feedback
when running a simple search pattern are shown in Figure 83.
The EL and AZ Position charts display a scrolling line showing Commanded vs Actual position of the axes, in
degrees, over a 30 second repeating time.
The EL and AZ Velocity charts display the Commanded vs Actual velocities in degrees per second over a repeating
30 second time.
The EL and AZ Current charts display the measured current in amps delivered by each servo amplifier to the EL and
AZ motors over 30 seconds.

4.2.1.8.4 Scope
Scope view, shown in Figure 84, opens a virtual oscilloscope with typical channel scaling functions. The Scope
window displays the two strobing signals (square waves) which modulate the Quasonix SCM feed, as well as the
resulting AM signal needed for tracking a radiating target.
