Figure 52: Hardware, Feed 1
In Figure 52, the settings were selected and set for a standard Quasonix tri-band feed (L/S/C bands). The Quasonix
SCM feed was selected from the Feed (1) Type, drop down menu. The (feed modulation) Mode is set to Normal,
and the feed Scan Frequency was set to 1000 Hz (typical factory scan rate setting). The scanning frequency can be
adjusted from 100 Hz to 2000 Hz using the up/down arrows.
The Swap Lines and the Line (0 and 1) Invert modulation parameters are factory set for proper SCM feed
modulation and should not be modified. These parameters are provided for factory test and troubleshooting purposes
only.
The frequency bands shown within the table are typical for the Quasonix SCM Tri-Band Tracking Feed Assembly.
Additional frequency bands can be added, removed, or modified by selecting the Add Band, Edit Band, or Delete
Band button(s). The frequency bands must be compatible with the feed(s) installed, and cannot overlap the provided
bands shown within the table.
Note: The Hardware - Feeds 2, 3, and 4 windows are identical to the Feed 1 window, but do not have the saved feed
parameters settings, as shown in Figure 53. Only one feed is typically supplied, so all other feed windows are empty.
If a system is supplied with two feeds, for example,
the second feed’s parameters woul
d be saved under the Feed 2
heading.
