If you are changing media size, rotate the metal side rail
locks away from you so that the side rails can slide
freely.
This allows you to reposition the side rails to accommodate
a different size paper or transparency film.

Adjust the side rails to accommodate the new media.
The side rails have a geared action; move them by pressing
together or spreading apart at the center of each rail. Make
sure the media size indicators on the end of the side rails
align with the notches on the bottom of the paper tray.
