Macintosh users:
Use a LocalTalk or Ethernet connection for best
results.
IBM-compatible PC users:
Use a parallel port or Ethernet
connection for best results. Do not use the serial connection; at
9600 baud, the serial port is too slow for printing large files.
SCSI Printing for Specific Applications:
Some applications, such as
Adobe Photoshop, support SCSI printing through special Raster
mode SCSI printer drivers. When using the SCSI printer driver,
you can speed up printing from Raster (bitmap) applications like
Adobe Photoshop by printing to the ColorScript 310/330 printer
by a SCSI connection.
Consult your computer’s documentation or your system
administrator if you are not sure what type of connection is right
for your computer or your network.
