Chapter 6 — Upgrading Your Printer

Place the logic board on a flat surface.

Identify the SIMM slots on the printer’s logic board.

The SIMM slots are arranged in 2 banks of 2 slots each, as
shown in Figure 6-3.

Remove the new SIMMs from their static-proof bags.

SIMMs are shipped and stored in metallic static-proof bags.
Keep these bags in case you need to remove the SIMMs
from the printer later.
