Hidden MAC Filter Rules:

The MAC filter table contains 3 hidden rules, which are entered automatically by the
system to ensure you do not "lock" yourself out of the system. These include:

Any ARP frames are permitted to pass through the system.

All IPv4 frames with the destination MAC address of the bridge are
permitted to pass through.

All IPv4 frames with the source MAC address of the bridge are
permitted to pass through.

NOTE:

To locate the MAC Address of a Windows-based machine, type

ipconfig /all

at a DOS prompt.
