Remote Log
The Remote Log enables logging information to be sent to an external syslog server.
This allows for logging information to be kept for an extended period, depending on the
capacity of the syslog server.
When selecting a logging level, Panic will log only major alerts, where Info will log all
events from Panic to Info. Select an appropriate logging level for your environment.
To Create a Remote Log:
From any screen in the web interface,
step 1
Click the Tools tab, then Remote Log. The following screen appears:

From the Log Level drop-down list, select the category at which at remote
log is activated.
NOTE:
Only select Debug when diagnosing faults.

Enter the Syslog Server IP address in the Add an IP Address: field, then
click Add
.

Click Apply, then Tools. The following appears:

System Commands, then Save All. Click OK to confirm the save
