Numeral setting input field (Temporary input field registered in the window)
Reference:
Only one numeral setting input field can be registered in a window, and this nu-
meral setting input field is used as a temporary input field. Only one temporary
input field, numeral input field, or character string input field can be registered. A
thumbwheel type numeral setting input field cannot be registered for a window.
Operation
1, 2, 3...
1. Display the screen where a numeral setting input field is registered.
2. Specify the objective numeral setting input field using the input key – control
and the cursor moving keys.

Reference:
If the window open function is set for the cursor moving keys, the specified win-
dow automatically opens.
3. Press the window open key to open the window which is used for inputting a
numeric value.

The way in which the window is opened differs according to the property set for
the window open key (page 125).
4. Input a numeric value into the temporary input field using the input key – con-
trol.
The same procedure as used for inputting a numeric value into a normal nu-
meral setting input field can be used. For the procedure for inputting a nu-
meric value, refer to

If a temporary input field is set in a window, the input is automatically set in the
temporary input field.
When multiple windows are opened and the each window has an input field
(temporary input field), the data is set in the input field in a focus window.
For details of focus window, refer to Focus Window (page 233).

In the initial state, the initial state content of the objective input field is displayed
in the temporary input field.
S
The objective input field on the base screen maintains the initial state display
until the input is confirmed.
5. Press the ENT key in the input key – control or the key to confirm the input.
When the input is confirmed, the input numeric value is stored to a numeral
memory table. Then, the occurrence of a change in the contents of the nu-
meral memory table is notified to the host via the PT status notify area (page
55).
