The updated memory table number is written only when the memory table con-
tents are changed by operation at the PT. The memory table number is not writ-
ten when the contents of the numeral memory table are changed with the mathe-
matical function.

PT Operation Status (Bit 15)
When the PT is in RUN mode, this bit is set to 1. In other modes, and when the
System Menu screen is displayed, it is set to 0 (OFF). When this bit is set to 0
(OFF), the allocated bits and words are neither read or written.
While the PT is in RUN mode, 1 (ON) is periodically written to this bit. In order to
check whether the PT is operating normally or not, write 0 (OFF) to this bit, then
read it 30 seconds later. If the setting for the bit is 1 (ON), the PT is judged to be
running, and if it is 0 (OFF), the PT is judged to be stopped.
