Transferring
recipe tables and
recipe elements
When the PT is in transmit mode, you can transfer the
following units from the Support Tool to the PT.
•
All screen data (applications): All recipe tables and recipe ele-
ments
•
Screen data with recipe data affixed: Recipe elements only
•
Recipe table: Recipe tables only
Setting
parameters
•
Set the initial recipe data parameters using the Support Tool.
•
Press the parameter field in the recipe elements. The parame-
ter field will become an input field, and the specified pop-up win-
dow will be displayed. You can enter the values in the parame-
ters field using the input and confirmation touch switches set in
the window beforehand.
Note
You can restore the edited parameters to their initial val-
ues set using the Support Tool by using the System Menu
(Maintenance Mode/Memory Init.) on the PT.
Exchanging
record data with
host words (PC
memory or PT
memory)
•
Select a record, and then press the Write touch switch to write
all the parameters for one record to specified consecutive
words on the host.
•
Select a record, and then press the Read touch switch to read
all the parameters for one record from specified consecutive
words on the host.
Note
You can select any of the following communications meth-
ods (serial communications mode) between the PT and
PC: 1:1 NT Link, 1:N NT Link, or host link.
Additional
functions
•
You can enable or disable edit operations for each record indi-
vidually on the PT using the Support Tool.
•
You can prohibit all recipe touch switch operations while a spe-
cified host bit is OFF. (Interlock function.)
•
When writing to a word in the host is completed, you can send
an operation completed notification using a strobe operation
(OFF
→
ON
→
OFF) of a specified bit in the host.
