Connectors
This section gives an overview of the connectors located at the base layer of the IPC Application Con-
troller.

Power Connector
The power connector on the IPC is used to supply 24 VDC power to the IPC.
The power connector is supplied with the IPC.

I/O Connector
The I/O connector on the IPC Application Controller provides discrete signals with the following func-
tions.
• Input signal to the IPC when a connected UPS switches to battery power.
• Input signal to the IPC to perform a shutdown or power ON when the signal turns ON.
• Output signal from the IPC to indicate the power status of the IPC.
The I/O connector is supplied with the IPC.
