Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly

 

3.2.31 Multi-Purpose Feeder Unit - Separator

- Disengage the link and paper feed cover. 

Refer to procedure: 3.2.30 (

).

- Remove the two screws (1).
- Use a straight slot screwdriver to release the locks (LOCK) 
  on the upper frame (2).
- Remove the upper frame (2).
- Remove the two screws (3).
- Remove the separator assembly (4).
- Lift the paper hold (5) and release the separator (7) from the 
  separator bracket (6).
- Remove the separator (5). Be careful not to lose the spring (8).
