Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly

 

3.2.09 Main Stepper Motor

Perform the procedures listed below first.

- 3.2.01(

)

- 3.2.02(

)

- Detach the cable (1) from connector CN2 (2) of the main controller board (3).
- Work the cable free from the bracket (Not shown).
- Remove the two screws (4).
- Remove the main stepper motor (5) from the motor bracket (6).

NOTE:

- The motor in this procedure is used for both the main stepper motor 
  and the registration stepper motor.

- Lubricate the gear on the shaft of the main stepper motor. 

Refer to Section 3.5 of this Service Handbook for further information.
