Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly
3.2.15 Registration Roller
Perform the procedures listed below first.
- 3.2.01( )
- 3.2.02( )
- 3.2.11( )
- 3.2.12( )
- Position the lower base unit (1) as shown in View A.
- Remove the hopping roller gear (2).
- Slide the registration roller (3) in the direction of arrow A, and then lift it at
position B. You may need to use a needle nose pliers to lift the roller.
- Remove the bearing (4).
- Slide the registration roller in the direction of arrow C and remove the registration roller.
NOTE:
- The hopping roller gear is used in two places. The gear is used with the hopping roller.
It is also used on the registration roller.
- Clean the registration roller.
