Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly
3.2.12 Motor Assembly
Perform the procedures listed below first.
- 3.2.01( )
- 3.2.02( )
- 3.2.11( )
- Place the lower base unit (1) as shown.
- Unlock the two clamp levers (2).
- Remove the motor assembly (3).
- Remove the reduction gear (4).
- Remove the stepper motor idle gears (5).
NOTE: The diagram shows the assembly removed from the lower base unit.
Re- Installation
- Lubricate the teeth of the reduction gear.
Refer to Section 3.5 of this Service Handbook for lubrication information.
- Position the tabs (6) in the cutouts of the lower base frame.
- Lower the assembly into place, catching the metal bracket (7) under the claws (2).
