Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly
3.2.11 Lower Base Unit
Perform the procedures listed below first.
- 3.2.01( )
- 3.2.02( )
- Detach the cable (1) from connector CN2 (2) of the main controller board (3).
- Detach the cable (4) from connector CN3 (5) of the main controller board.
- Detach the LED head cable (6).
- Remove the screw (7) and release the ground strap (not shown).
- Open the manual feed guide (8)
- Remove the seven screws.Screw 9A is one long screw.Screws 9B are four regular
screws.Screws 9C are two screws with washers.
CAUTION: When lifting the lower base unit, be careful not to deform the FG plate (10).
- Lift and remove the lower base unit (11).
NOTE:
- All parts of the lower base unit attach to the lower base.
- The lower base is a single part.
The lower base unit is an assembly of many parts.
