Page List(s)
The
Pages
pane has some similarities with the
Templates
pane explained above. The
Pages
pane holds one or more Page lists — one list for each type of Pages available on the selected
NI controller. These lists display all Pages available in the current Template:
A Page list (here the
Knob Pages
list of a MASCHINE controller).
In these lists, each entry represents a Page. The Page currently loaded is highlighted.

To select another Page, click its entry.

The selected Page is automatically loaded, with all its control assignments.
You can also select another Page via the Page menu on the top of the Page area in the
Hardware area (see section
25.4.3, Page Areas and Page Menus
), or possibly from your
NI controller (see the relevant controller-specific chapter).
Each entry in the
Pages
lists consists of a number and a name. The Page’s number is not edit-
able — it defines the order of appearance of the Page in the list. The Page’s name is editable:

To rename the Page, double-click its name (it is then highlighted), type a new name, and
press [Enter] on your computer keyboard.
Like in the Template list, you can reorder the Pages in the list by drag-and-drop:

To move a Page in the list, click its entry, move your mouse vertically while holding the
mouse button depressed, and release the mouse button at the desired location.

The Page takes its new place in the list.
