Action On Menu

For the Toggle, Trigger, and Increment modes, an

Action on

menu at the bottom of the Defini-

tion area allows you to choose when the message has to be sent.

The

Action on

menu.

The two options proposed by the

Action on

menu are:

▪

Down

(default setting): The message is sent when the button is switched to the Down state

(i.e. when you hit the button)

▪

Up

: The message is sent when the button is switched to the Up state (i.e. when you release

the button).

For Touch actions on all controllers, the

Down

and

Up

entries are called instead

Touch

and

Release

, respectively.

When the control element is set to Gate mode, this menu is not available — it wouldn’t
make sense, since both Down and Up state already define the Values On and Off to be
sent.
