The left Deck Unit on the TRAKTOR KONTROL S5.

The Deck Units of the TRAKTOR KONTROL S5 hold the following areas:
(1) FX area: This area holds five buttons and four knobs, all of them freely assignable. Further-
more, the four FX knobs can be both turned and touched, leading to two different assignments
for each knob.
(2) Display area: This area doesn’t hold any MIDI-assignable elements. The display and the lit-
tle buttons around provide you feedback on your assignments and allow you to adjust a few
settings for your controller. See section

17.4, The Displays

for more information.
