Pull the spiral cord off the coil hook behind the pipettor head.
This will free the mechanism for easier removal.

To completely remove the pipettor head, unscrew the black
connector at the end of the white spiral cord from its secure
position around the receptacle.

Pull the connector out of the receptacle and take the pipettor
head the rest of the way out of the fluidics module.
