Slide the lamp assembly horizontally out the side of the
instrument and lay it on its heat sink fins, leaving the orange
electrical cord connected.

Use a 3/32” hex key to remove the two screws that hold down
the diamond shaped retainer. Be careful not to lose the screws.

Withdraw the Lamp

Withdraw the silver-colored lamp from its multi-pin socket by
gently rocking it and pulling it upward.

Notice the location of the copper coil spring and keep it at hand.

Remove the new lamp from its packaging, being careful not to
touch the lamp window.
CAUTION!
Do not touch the lamp window at any time.
