Procedure 20: Schedule regular backups
For security reasons, you should back up regularly. Use this procedure to
schedule regular backups or to change the schedule. You should try to
schedule backups for off-peak hours (such as during the night).

At the ÒConsole Login:Ó prompt, type
maint
(if you are not already
logged in). The default password is
maint
.

At the Òmaint>Ó prompt, type
backconfig
and press [Return].
The following prompt appears:

A backup has not been scheduled.
Do you want to schedule a backup [y,n]:

Type
y
and press [Return] to indicate that you wish to schedule a
backup.
You are prompted to change the scheduled backup.

Enter time in 24-hour form: 00:00Ñ23:59
Enter return for no change
Change scheduling time from Ô02:00Õ to:

To change the scheduled backup time, type a new time in the form
00:00Ð23:59 and press [Return]. To indicate that you do not wish to
change the default scheduling time, just press [Return].
