Appendix > Restrictions
Depending on the condition of
the paper there is a risk that
paper gets in contact with the
print head. This might cause
dirt on the leading edge, paper
jam or dog ears (folded page
corners).
In case of satisfying any of the
following conditions
• Paper which is curled at
concave side of the printing
surface (Especially, post
card, thick paper)
• Paper which is waved due to
the high humidity, etc.
• Paper that the corner is bent
• If the curl is big, set paper
after removing the curl
(Height of the curl: within 5
mm, recommendation: within
3 mm).
• Set paper that the lower curl
side (convex side) should be
printing surface.
• Do not to use waved paper.
• Use paper right after open
the package.
• Paper should be packed in
the wrapping paper after use.
• Paper should keep in the
horizontal condition and
store them avoiding the high
temperature/high
humidity/direct sunlight
• Do not to use paper that the
corner is bent.
