Parking wheels
A disconnected machine can easily be moved with the parking
wheels.
Raise the machine to working height.
Switch the tractor off, remove the key from the ignition and engage
the parking brake of the tractor.
Secure the machine by placing adequate supports.
Fit the frame to the machine as described in the spare parts
manual.
Secure the wheels with the lock clips.
The caster wheels can be placed on the side of the frame.
This prevents damage to the crop while spreading.
Vanes
The spreader is provided with 12 vanes of equal length.
Grease the threaded rods of the vanes.
Hook the first vane into the first position behind the fixed vane.
Then place the other two vanes into the next positions.
Press the vanes in well and put the lock nut in position.
Place the vane on the other side in the same manner, right across
the other vanes.
Fasten the lock nuts (37 ft.lb)
Even wear of the vanes
The interchangeable vanes are positioned in groups of three.
The first vane considered in the direction of rotation of the disc will
wear out most quickly.
T
IP
Exchange the first vane after the fixed vane, and the third vane,
over a period of time.
After a subsequent period, exchange the foremost vane at that
time with the central vane.
As a result, the vanes will wear evenly and the spreading pattern will
remain optimal.
T
IP
In case of intensive spreading of fertilizer with high roughness, use the
optionally hardened set of vanes.
See »Hardened vanes« on page 155.

WARNING
Only park with an empty hopper
Only park the machine on the parking wheels if the hopper is
empty! Parking with a filled hopper results in reduced stability.
Moreover, the wheels are not designed for heavy loads. Damages
to the machine and physical injury can be caused.
