2.7 Fieldbus Specific
Ethernet/IP
In this menu you have the option to select whether the network
settings of the module should be configured via the settings of the
Modbus register (0x4041-0x4049) shift register or via the DHCP
server.
NOTICE
Please note that a configuration via the following menus is only used if the
DIP switch is set to the address "0". Once you have set an address on the
DIP switch, this setting will be used.

If you select
"9 – Configure Actual Selection"
you will be
taken to a further menu where you can configure the settings using
the Modbus register.
2.7.1 Ethernet/IP Modbus
Register setting
In this menu you have the option to configure the network settings of
the module via the Modbus register.

You can now make the following setting adjustments:
1. MAC Address: Each network device has a MAC address that it can be
identified by. To ensure unique assignment, the address may only be
used once within a network.
NOTICE! Only change the MAC address if
it is absolutely essential for your application. Make sure that you
are authorised to use the MAC address.
NOTICE! Assigning a MAC
address that already exists in your network will lead to
communication problems!
