USB port
You can upload and download the data to/from control box by
inserting the USB flash drive into the USB port (4).
USB port (9) is a spare USB port. Use it as needed.
Close the USB ports with the cap when they are not used in or-
der to prevent water and dust from entering.
REMARK
• USB flash drive with password lock function cannot be
used.
• Perform virus scanning for the USB flash drive. Check that
it is free from virus, and then use it.
• Save the data directly to the USB flash drive (root directly).
If the data is saved in a folder made in the USB flash drive
(sub directly), control box cannot recognize the data.
• The control box may not operate properly when the ca-
pacity of internal memory reaches the limit due to saving
the large data. Frequently delete the unnecessary data.
• If the remaining capacity of internal memory becomes less,
warning message shown right is displayed. In this case,
delete the unnecessary files.
• Be careful for the control box not to get infected with a vi-
rus through the USB flash drive.
Take measures such as to use the USB flash drive which
antivirus software is installed to, or to perform virus check
with computer.
NETWORK MODEM
The network modem is a necessary terminal for 3G communication in order to obtain the satellite compensation
information via network, and connect the construction management system such as Site-Link.
NOTICE
Use an antenna for network modem which KOMATSU recommends always when using this device.
If an antenna which is not recommended by KOMATSU is used, it may not be complied with the regula-
