ACTION FOR Waiting for satellites
Phenomena: The system is acquiring satellites. Wait for a
while.
1.
Check if there is an obstacle around GNSS antenna (tall
building, tree, wall, etc. which disturbs communication or
reflects radio wave).
If there is an obstacle, move to the place with no obstacle,
and wait for a while. (approximately for 15 to 20 minutes)
REMARK
It may take time to acquire the satellites if the power sup-
ply of GNSS base station or GNSS receiver (MC-R3) is
turned on for the first time or after a long period of time.
2.
Check if the connectors at the both ends of cables (1) and (2) shown in the following figure are connected
securely.

If it does not return after waiting for 15 to 20 minutes and cable connector has no looseness, ask your Ko-
matsu distributor for an investigation of the cause and repair of it.
ACTION FOR Waiting for radio link
Phenomena: GNSS base station is being communicated, or
power of GNSS base station is not supplied, or the cable of
GNSS radio device has a trouble.
Stop the operation and perform the following procedure.
1.
Check if the power supply of GNSS base station is turned
on.
When GNSS base station works correctly, wait for a while.
(approximately for 15 to 20 minutes)
REMARK
It may take time to acquire the satellites if the power sup-
ply of GNSS base station or GNSS receiver is turned on
for the first time or after a long period of time.
2.
If the message is not cleared after waiting a while, check if the modem channel of radio device is the same
as that of GNSS base station.
If channel setting is correct, display indicates that it is in communication.
3.
Reset the connection between the intelligent Machine Control system and GNSS base station.
