Chapter

Coloured sheets are possible when using very bright colours. Before producing a

larger quantity of patch code sheets, it would be wise to first check the recognition

within the scanner by means of test samples. As the sensor operates in the infrared

range, a pure visual inspection of the sheets is often insufficient. What the unaided

eye regards as jet black can still reflect light in the infrared range.
