Unplug
the

cables
from
the
system
unit.
4.
Exchange
one
of
the
FRUs
in
the
list.
5.
Connect
the
power
cables
to
the
system
unit.
Do
the
ac
power
LEDs
on
the
power
supplies
come
on
within
30
seconds
after
applying
ac
power?
NO
Reinstall
the
original
FRU.
Repeat
this
step
until
the
defective
FRU
is
identified
or
all
the
FRUs
have
been
exchanged.
If
the
symptom
did
not
change
and
all
the
FRUs
have
been
exchanged,
call
your
service
representative
for
assistance.

cables
from
the
system
unit.

Exchange
the
operator
panel
assembly.
3.
Plug
the
power
cables
into
the
system
unit
and
wait
for
the
OK
prompt
located
on
the
operator
panel
display.

Turn
on
the
power.
Does
the
power
LED
on
the
operator
panel
come
on
and
stay
on?
NO
Reinstall
the
original
operator
panel
assembly.

Turn
off
the
power.
2.
Unplug
the
power
cables
from
the
system
unit.
3.
Record
the
slot
numbers
of
all
the
adapters.
Label
and
record
the
location
of
any
cables
attached
to
the
adapters.
Disconnect
any
cables
attached
to
the
adapters
and
remove
all
the
adapters
4.
Remove
all
but
one
quad
of
memory
DIMMs
from
the
system
planar.
5.
Unplug
the
signal
and
power
cables
from
the
DASD
backplane.
