Reconnect
the
external
cables
and
power
cords;
then,
turn
on
the
attached
devices
and
the
computer.

Start
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
and
reset
the
configuration:
v
Set
the
system
date
and
time.
v
Set
passwords
if
necessary.
v
Save
the
configuration.
Removing
the
internal
speaker
The
internal
speaker
is
on
the
front
panel
of
the
computer,
behind
the
front
adapter-retention
bracket.
To
remove
the
speaker,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Read
the
safety
information
that
begins
on
page
and
2.
Turn
off
the
computer
and
all
attached
devices;
then,
disconnect
all
external
cables
and
power
cords.
3.
Remove
the
side
cover
(see
4.
Remove
the
hard
disk
drive
bracket,
if
one
is
installed
(see
5.
Remove
the
front
bezel
(see
Note:
It
might
be
helpful
to
lay
the
computer
on
its
left
side
for
the
remainder
of
this
procedure.
6.
Remove
any
full-length
adapters
that
are
installed.
7.
Disconnect
the
speaker
wire
from
the
system
board
connector.
8.
Remove
the
front
adapter-retention
bracket
(see
9.
Remove
the
microprocessor
fan
assembly
(see
10.
Slide
the
speaker
out
of
its
retaining
tabs
toward
the
top
of
the
computer
and
lift
it
out
of
the
computer.
11.
If
you
are
instructed
to
return
the
speaker,
follow
all
packaging
instructions,
and
use
any
packaging
materials
for
shipping
that
are
supplied
to
you.
Installing
the
internal
speaker
To
install
the
speaker,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Slide
the
speaker
into
the
retaining
tabs
in
the
front
of
the
computer.
2.
Install
the
microprocessor
fan
assembly
(see
3.
Install
the
front
adapter-retention
bracket
(see
4.
Reconnect
the
speaker
wire
to
the
system
board
connector.
5.
Install
any
full-length
adapters
that
were
removed.
6.
Install
the
front
bezel
(see
7.
Install
the
hard
disk
drive
bracket,
if
one
was
removed
(see
8.
Install
the
side
cover
(see
9.
Reconnect
the
external
cables
and
power
cords;
then,
turn
on
the
attached
devices
and
the
computer.
