Removing the bezel
When working with some devices, such as additional optical drives, you must first
remove the bezel to access the device.
To remove the bezel, complete the following steps:
1. Read the safety information that begins on page vii and “Installation guidelines”
on page 73.
2. Turn off the computer and all attached devices; then, disconnect all external
cables and power cords.
3. Remove the side cover (see “Removing the side cover” on page 75).
4. Press the bezel release button and pull the bottom of the bezel away from the
chassis; then, lift the bezel up to disengage the top tabs (see Figure 12).
5. Remove the bezel from the computer and store it in a safe place.
