Installing the hard disk drive bracket
To install the hard disk drive bracket, complete the following steps:
1. Place the top edge of the hard disk drive bracket into place on the chassis;
then, rotate the tray downward until it engages in the chassis (see Figure 30).
2. Install the two screws that fasten the top edge of the hard disk drive bracket to
the chassis.
3. Reconnect the signal and power cables to the hard disk drive that is installed in
the tray.
Note: If you removed the hard disk drive while removing the tray, install it now
(see“Installing a drive in bay 5” on page 105.
4. Install the side cover (see “Installing the side cover” on page 76).
5. Reconnect the external cables and power cords; then, turn on the attached
devices and turn on the computer.
