switch (P type only)

This switch is used to change the type of the teaching pendant connected to

the teaching connector [9]. It switches between “IAI’s standard teaching

pedant” and “ANSI teaching pendant.” The switch is located on the front side

of the board. Select the applicable setting in accordance with the teaching

pendant used.

Note 1: The safety gate switch will not function if this switch is not set

correctly.

Note 2: IAI’s standard teaching pendants cannot be used with Q type

controllers.

Note 3: TP-SW is not available on QX type controllers.
