
IMPORTANT:
HP recommends that you update node firmware before continuing with the
installation. HP StoreAll 9730 Storage systems have been tested with specific node firmware
versions. Continuing the installation without upgrading to a supported firmware version can
result in a defective system.

Provide the host name (blade name) on the
Individual Server Setup
screen. The installation
detects the time settings.
NOTE:
The host name, which is the name of the local server, can include alphanumeric
characters and the hyphen (-) special character. It is a best practice to use only lowercase
characters in host names; uppercase characters can cause issues with HP StoreAll OS Software.
Do not use an underscore (_) in the host name.

If needed, update the time settings on the
Individual Server Setup
screen. While setting the
time zone, press
Enter
while the cursor is positioned in the Time Zone field to display the list
of time zones in a separate screen. Enter the first letter of your time zone, or use the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to find your time zone. Select
Ok
to accept screen selections.
On the
Network Configuration
screen, the system defines the server on
Bond0
.

Network Configuration
screen(s):
