HP StoreAll 8200 Installation Manual Download Page 59

To configure the initial server in your cluster, which is at the current HP StoreAll OS Software
version:
1.

Log in to the initial node by entering

root

at the login prompt, and then enter

hpinvent

as

the password. If you have already completed these steps on the initial node, log in to the next
node, if necessary, and perform the steps in this section for subsequent nodes.

The

StoreAll Installation — Welcome

screen appears.

2.

Select

Begin

to initiate the installation process. The

Individual Server Setup

screen appears.

3.

Enter the host name in the

Hostname

field.

NOTE:

The host name, which is the name of the local server, can include alphanumeric

characters and the hyphen (-) special character. It is a best practice to use only lowercase
characters in host names; uppercase characters can cause issues with HP StoreAll OS Software.
Do not use underscores (_) in the host name.
