The wizard obtains OA/VC information from blade 1, uses the login credentials for blade 1,
and attempts to automatically enter an IP address.

14. If the wizard fails to acquire OA/VC information, the

X9730 Chassis Configuration

screen

appears. Before proceeding, enter the SSH User name and password to access OA/VC
information from blade 1 automatically, or enter the OA/VC credentials manually.

The wizard takes the following actions:

•

Examines the OA and VC firmware and notifies you if an update is needed

•

Verifies the VC configuration

•

Creates the

hpspAdmin

user accounts on the iLOs

•

Verifies the chassis configuration

•

Examines the firmware on the SAS switches and notifies you if an update is needed

•

Verifies the SAS configuration

•

Examines the storage firmware and notifies you if an update is needed

•

Verifies the storage configuration

•

Sets up networking on the blade
