Import the new physical volumes into the StoreAll database

The new physical volumes must be discovered by the HP StoreAll OS Software to make them
available to the cluster.
1.

On the HP StoreAll Management Console, select

Storage

from the Navigator. The

Storage

panel lists the physical volumes included on the original 9730 system.

2.

Click

Discover

, at the top of the

Storage

panel, to discover the new physical volumes.

3.

Use the default options on the

Discover Storage

screen, and click

OK

.

The

Storage

panel now lists the original physical volumes and the newly discovered physical

volumes.

4.

To discover the physical volumes, run the following StoreAll command on the active Fusion
Manager, specifying just the new blades with the

 -h

option:

ibrix_pv -a -h ib121-123,ib121-124
