Pre-Operation Inspection
Do not use the instrument if
damage is found, as electric
shock or short-circuit accidents
could result. Contact your autho-
rized Hioki distributor or reseller.

Is the power cord insulation torn, or
is any metal exposed?

Before using the instrument for the first time, verify that it operates normally to
ensure that no damage occurred during storage or shipping. If you find any dam-
age, contact your authorized Hioki distributor or reseller.
Peripheral Device Inspection
Is the insulation on a measurement
lead torn, or is any metal exposed?

If there is any damage, measured
values may be unstable and
measurement errors may occur.
Replace the cable with an un-
damaged one.
