MOUNTING THE ELEMENT
(1)
Replace with a new O-ring and apply engine oil. Mount it to the
cap.
(2)
Replace with a new element and mount it by aligning with the
body center boss.
(3)
Mount the cap by turning clockwise until it lifts up.
! CAUTION
•
Do not tighten the cap excessively.
•
The O-ring is nonreusable.
•
Remove the dirt or foreign matter on the O-ring mounting
surface.
NOTICE
It is recommended that the element of the closed ventilator be
replaced once after replacing the oil filter twice.

Mount the closed ventilator cover from the 2 bolts.
Tightening Torque:
31 N·m {316 kgf·cm, 23 lbf·ft}
