1. Relocate the low volt-
age and/or high volt-
age cable so that there
is a minimum of 3
inches separation
between the low volt-
age cable and the high
voltage cable.
2. Increase the separa-
tion between the low
voltage cable and a
high electro-magnetic
field. Move the cable
until the problem goes
away.
3. Relocate the cable so
that the cable is a mini-
mum of 14 inches from
SCRs, Motor Controls,
and Relay Banks.
4. Use a premium Load
Cell cable (8 conduc-
tor) with heavy shield-
ing.

Troubleshooting with a Simple Ground Test.
Step 1. Apply a static charge to the vessel or cabling.
Step 2. Check the weight reading. The weight reading should not
vary.
Result 1. If the reading changes radically, or the controller locks up, the
grounding is not correct.
Result 2. If the reading does not change the grounding is not the prob-
lem.
