of two Time base periods plus the averages (20 averages per sec-
ond). The Timebase is normally set for four seconds.

"A" is the Master Ingredient where the actual flow is measured and
transmitted. A signal can come from a variety of Host Controllers
including a flow meter.

"B" and "C" are the Slave ingredients which track the flow of "A".
The remote set point to "B" and "C", from "A", is setting the
desired rate set point.

The Remote Set Point Input Option enables the user to set a range
which is used to receive rate set point values from another unit's
analog outputs. The Set Point parameters can be set remotely from
the Allen Bradley Remote I/O and PROFIBUS Interface Card but
cannot be remotely set via the serial communication.
Step 1. Place a jumper wire between the Remote Connector and the
ground pin on the Remote Functions Connector. (See Fig. 8-
23)
Step 2. Select the Remote Mode in the Set Point Menu. (See Rate
Modes above for instructions)
