Parameter
Description
Mode
Allows Discovery and Connection Management to be disabled.
This can be useful for troubleshooting.
ON:
Allow the card to inter-operate with other equipment
through an NMOS registry.
OFF:
NMOS is disabled (default).
Status
Displays registration status of the module.
Not Registered:
No NMOS registry connection has been made.
Registering:
Contact with the NMOS registry has been made.
Registered:
Successful registration with the NMOS registry. This
shows a message indicating that it has registered to the IP
address, registry port number, and query port number of that
NMOS registry service. For example, the message

Registry Mode
Set the IS-04, registry connection mode.
Auto:
Automatic discovery of the NMOS registry using DNS
Service Discovery (DNS-SD), as described in AMWA IS-04 NMOS
Discovery and Registration Specification v1.2.
Static:
Set the IP address, registration port, and query port for
the NMOS registry.
Interface
Select the network interface to be used to connect to the NMOS
registry.
Auto:
Searches through each network interface, looking for the
NMOS registry. This mode automatically fails over to the next
available network interface if connection to the NMOS registry
is lost.
Ethernet 1:
Represents the cards’s
SFP1
connection.
Ethernet 2:
Represents the card’s
SFP2
connection.
Ethernet Gb:
Represents the card’s:

MANAGEMENT
connection for a UCP

Specify a label for the module, and then click
to save. This is
the identifier by which the module will be known in the NMOS

the NMOS registry when the
Registry Mode
