1. Bolts (11) and washers (12).
2. Cap (13).
3. O-ring (14):
4. Shuttle (15).
5. Guide (16).
ISB Clean
• All metal parts.in mineral spirits or another suitable
solvent.

• All parts for rust, wear, and cracks. Replace as
needed.

1. Lubricate seal and inside of valve guide with a light
film of Delco Silicone Lube (GM P/N 18010909 or
equivalent). _
2. Guide (16).
3. Shuttle (15).
4. O-ring (14).
5. Cap (13).

Remove or Disconnect (Figure 17)
• If the heater element has failed, the entire, cover
must be replaced.
1. Four bolts (1) and washers (2).
2. Cover (3). ~
3. O-ring (4). ''
4. Valve (6) and valve guide (5).
5. Adapter (10).
6. Filter (9).
7. Filter retainer (8).
O l| Clean
• All metal parts in mineral spirits or another suitable
solvent.
• The filter, replace if plugged.

-| install or Connect (Figure 17)
1. Lubricate the inlet valve seat with Delco Silicone
Lube (GM P/N 18010909 or equivalent).
• Do not lubricate the inlet and exhaust valve.
