The housing is made from 5% blue tinged acrylic and prevents draft air into the X400. It also avoids
injuries from the moving parts of the printer. The housing also provides a more stable temperature of
the printing area resulting in better prints. Optional fans can be installed in the back if the inside gets
too hot.
Assembly of the housing is rather simple. Please refer to the drawings for details.
