Next is the assembly of the hot end. In the photo, the PEEK thermal barrier is outside the extruder. It
does not have to be removed for this step.
The PTFE lining is inserted in the PEEK thermal barrier. The PTFE lining has to be shortened so that the
brass nozzle can be inserted in the PEEK thermal barrier and the retaining ring has a distance of
about 1mm to the PEEK thermal barrier. It's needed to get slowly close to the mentioned 22.1 mm.
The PEEK thermal barrier serves as heat protection between the hot end and the other components.
Thereby, the PTFE lining enables the filament to slide into the brass nozzle with little resistance.

This assembly is tightly screwed together with the nozzle retaining nut.
